The Dry Hair and skin are very itchy for her! Ive even used Dandruff shampoo! Is there something I can use to get the moisture back into her hair and skin?

There are many reasons for your dogs dry skin. Weather, humidity in your home, diet, shampoo being used, allergies, having been spayed/neutered,....

How old is your pet? After about 8 years of age they start losing the ability to produce oils. Are you brushing on a daily basis to increase oils? The diet should be a high quality that has Omega 3 %26amp; Omega 6 oils in it. Have you tried using a food/skin supplement such as Linatone? Soapless shampoos are the best. We use Tropiclean a natural shampoo in our srore. And never use prople shampoo as it can burn your pets skin due to the difference in the pH of the products. And of course if it persists after checking all these possibilities, consult a vet.

I would call the vet maybe and ask if there is a shampoo or something out there. As winter comes, we notice our dogs get a little more dried out. Maybe check the quality of the food you are feeding. Also, how often do you bath her?

couple drops of teatree oil into his normal puppy shampoo. It's all natural and will soothe and cure his skin. (works good for people too!!)

Dont use shampoo on your dog bath him/or her with plain water and condition only NO SOAP it drys out natural oils if you must bath rub a little unrefined coconut oil while still damp then dry off...Guaranteed or you can insult me

you should try using a shampoo with oil or oatmeal in it. they sell them at local pet stores like petsmart/petco

ok...stop dont use dandruff shampoo you only going to make it worse! how many times to you bath her.....u dont need to bath her more then maybe 1 a month! also if hes itchy and so on...u need to take her to a vet to make sure it doesnt turn into anything else! but never use people shampoo on a dog! its not made for there skin. and if u bath her to much you will remove the oils in her skin! hope that help!

Dandruff shampoo is no good for dogs, the oils are essential. Get her on nuvet plus, it is guaranteed to take care of this. Try it before going to the vet, if it works, cool, if not, get your money back then go to the vet, see if you can do it the other way around, not likely.

Buy a special shampoo for dry skin. You may try to contact a local groomer and ask what they use.
