I dyed, my dirty blonde hair, brown, is there any natural way i can lighten this?

its usually a dirty blonde, light brown.

my roots are about right,

but after that its all dark, really dark.

and i want to lighten this color, to fade and/or mix this color in, so it looks better, then grow it out.

what ways can i do this, without chemicals or the hair color stripping?

home remedeys.

I dyed, my dirty blonde hair, brown, is there any natural way i can lighten this?

If you put lemon juice in your hair, and sit out in the sun for a few hours, it should turn lighter. Just say you are trying to get tan! Good luck!

I dyed, my dirty blonde hair, brown, is there any natural way i can lighten this?

i heard lemons in your shampoo but idk never tryed it

I dyed, my dirty blonde hair, brown, is there any natural way i can lighten this?

why did you dye it that color if you were wanting it lighter?

ask your hairstylist

I dyed, my dirty blonde hair, brown, is there any natural way i can lighten this?

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

im serious i did it this summer and it worked great!!

it costs like $1 at the store and you put it straight on your hair in liquid form leave it on for 10 min or so and it will be a ton lighter

How can I dye my hair silver and keep the natural dark highlites?

I have dyed my hair dark blonde for years, but when it grows in it is silver with some dark highlites. How can I dye it silver so I don't have to wait a year for it to grow out?

How can I dye my hair silver and keep the natural dark highlites?

Ask your Hair Stylists

How can I dye my hair silver and keep the natural dark highlites?

You might look like you have gray hair

How can I dye my hair silver and keep the natural dark highlites?

You can do what you want to do.

I am a natural blonde but i dye my hair brown....how do you suggest i go back to blonde?

should i wait and grow it out....i dont really want to dye blonde and then have it grow out becuase it will be very hard to match my natural shade...what do you suggest i do

I am a natural blonde but i dye my hair brown....how do you suggest i go back to blonde?

if you want to wait that long to grow it out...do it ..

But the first thing that came to mind was dye it back to blonde. It doesn't matter if its a little off, because blondes look great anyways, you could get highlights and everything to make it look better. Then when it grows out a litle more, you can match it even better. there are tons of colors out there

I am a natural blonde but i dye my hair brown....how do you suggest i go back to blonde?

Try getting highlights in the brown hair. Then when it starts to grow out it will look like brown highlights.

take pics of you when you were blonde %26amp;%26amp; take it to the hair place get it as alose as possible the grow it out!

I am a natural blonde but i dye my hair brown....how do you suggest i go back to blonde?

My step daughter did this.....and she has never been her natural color since. the best you can do .... is to begin highlighting it.....but remember color will not remove color...and you will have to go to a professional.....and you have to tell them that you have color on it, this lets them know what they need to do. I would actually use kaledicolors..neutral, and see if it would lift any at all. this would give you natural looking highlights, but it would be best to do a test strand to see if the kaledi colors will do anything.....I have done it b4 and it does ..... but not knowing how dark brown nor what brand you used.....I do not know if the kaledicolors will work or not.

I am a natural blonde but i dye my hair brown....how do you suggest i go back to blonde?

I go back and forth with my hair from brown to blond all the time. It shouldn't be hard to match your natural shade, there are a lot of shades out there, one should be really close to your natural one.

Ok, So I'm currently trying to get my hair more healthy and go natural(I'm african america

Do you know anyway to get African American hair straight without heat or to get it curly-ish, without it being dry? What products do you use? Thanks!

Ok, So I'm currently trying to get my hair more healthy and go natural(I'm african american).?

i use design essentials.

o and when you wash it yourself ( say you go swimming) make sure you use either the nexus spray in leave in conditioner or the design essentials one.

to keep it healthy don't use a straightener. ( those r 4 white girls!!! u kno!) make sure to eat and drink healthily becuz that helps with dandruff.

to get it curly use the soft curlers. every night use them wrap them up in a doo rag and put ALLL NATURAL SHEA BUTTER around your edges.

email me and i will tell you the brand name

i hear a lot of natural girls use gel like Herbal Essences Curl gel or pomade to define your curls. I don't know if there is a way to get natural hair straight without using heat though..

Natural stuff to put in your hair?

Like I've heard putting eggs in your hair is good for your hair.

Any thing else?

Natural stuff to put in your hair?

olive oil- very nourishing but hard to find a good brand (FYI if ur olive oil is clear its not a good brand quality olive oil is cloudy lookng) its good for my blondies out there cuz over time olive oil lightens hair

coconut oil-good for strenthening hair especially dark tones it seems to enrich the color

amla powder- conditioning and strenthing roots and promtes growth

Mayo - for dry hair

olive oil - for dandruff

mayonaise of course because its made out of eggs

Natural stuff to put in your hair?

Mayonnaise really does work well. I use it all the time; not only does it make my hair more manageable (and shiny:D), but it makes my hair color look richer. Here's what I do:

1. Throw two(dry) towels into the dryer on low heat. Make sure they're in the dryer for at least 5 minutes beforehand.

2.Get your hair damp, and smear the mayo through your hair. Be generous!

3. Wrap your hair in Saran Wrap.

4. Take the first towel out of the dryer and wrap it around your head. Leave the dryer running with the second towel in it.

5. Leave the towel on for 10-20 minutes, then switch to the other warm towel.

6. Leave the second towel on for the same amount of time, then take off the Saran Wrap(mine always comes looking like a little bowl^.^) and wash your hair really well with shampoo.

If you have damaged hair, you can use it as often as once a week. It really helps!

Is it advisable to take the artificial color out of my hair? I want to 'go natural'.?

I've been coloring my hair for almost ten years. Now, I want it to go away *but* I also don't want to cut my hair. There are color-removers available. Would my hair end up purple/green or fall out? I've had cancer and don't wanna be bald again.

Is it advisable to take the artificial color out of my hair? I want to 'go natural'.?

Yes, unfortunately they don't make grey haircolor! Color removers work reasonably well, but they'll never remove every bit of color from your hair. Especially if your current color is lighter than your natural ( for example, if your hair is grey with a little brown, and you've been coloring it a light brown or blonde. Your natural color would have been lifted, and no color remover can restore it to it's natural darker shade.) Your best option might be to start using a semi-permanent color, same shade as the permanent color you now have. It will fade out in 4-6 weeks, but just continue doing this until you've cut off the ends with the permanent color. This way you won't have to live with just growing it all out, and having horrible roots. Good luck!

Is it advisable to take the artificial color out of my hair? I want to 'go natural'.?

Try coloring your hair like your natural shade at first so you dont see a drastic change.. and then just let the color fade so that it could blend with your new hair.

Is it advisable to take the artificial color out of my hair? I want to 'go natural'.?

As a hairdresser its hard to give a consultation on line without seeing your hair, firstly you don't give the colour of your processed hair and what condition its in if you can provide these i would be quite happy to give you some advice, but the best thing really is to seek out reputable salon in your area and book a consultation with a qualified senior stylist.

good luck x

unfortunatly you will hav to let time work its wonders as i wouldnt recomend useing a grey hair dye over brown good luck x

Is it advisable to take the artificial color out of my hair? I want to 'go natural'.?

i don't think that your hair would turn any weird colors if you were to seek the advice of a professional that is my only advice.

Is it advisable to take the artificial color out of my hair? I want to 'go natural'.?

The safest thing you could do is choose a colour very close to your original one and dye your hair for the last time. This way, you don't need to cut your hair. I wouldn't recommend using all the colour remover stuff because some can be a little harsh on your scalp.

Best of luck!

I just became natural, How can i get my hair curly and more wavy lookin?

Ive heard of the mousse curl stuff but i dont know what kind of mousse to get and the routine im suppose to take to make my hair curly. HELP!!!

I just became natural, How can i get my hair curly and more wavy lookin?

Use "Care Free Curl" its an instant activator. It has a silk moisturizer, dual conditioning, it smooths hair and adds shine. Its for natural or curly hair. I use it every day. I used to use mouse, but it makes your hair dry and brittle.

I just became natural, How can i get my hair curly and more wavy lookin?

well, if your hair also gets frizzy use some de-frizz serum to calm down the frizz. Then, you run some gel through your hair and just scrunch it. The wetter your hair is the more gel you will need.

hope i helped :]

they have great styling products.

they have a wave enhancing spray that works wonders.!

and their volumizing mousse works great too.

and they usually have them buy any 3 products for $21.00

you can sprunch your hair to make it look wavy and aussie makes it. you put it on your hair when its like wet kindof like damp and just sprunch it i think theres directions

I just became natural, How can i get my hair curly and more wavy lookin?

you became natural??

well, garnier fructice has curl activator that is really good.

what you do is when your hair is wet put the curl activator in your hair, then let it nautraul dry most of the way then when your hair is just damp you blow dry it with the diffuser knob on the blowdryer then after that you use a curling iron to define the waves!!

i hope you can use that...

I'm not natural but I'm obsessed with hair and hair products. I know that a few women use Carol's Daughter products and Cantu. They have some curl definers and leave in conditioners. Sometimes you may have to curl or twist your hair while it's wet for the curls to set in. It's different strokes for different folks though.

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

could i bleach it and then tone it my hair doesnt get damaged easily and i am getting it cut shorter right after

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

Please go to a professional.. I stripped my hair so bad I had to cut it down real short not the style i wanted.

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

call a hair stylist

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

Do NOT do it yourself, you'll pay MORE in the long run!! See a professional. And yes, the only way to remove black hair color is to bleach it, color will NOT lift color. Getting your hair cut after is a good idea!

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

Go to a professional hairstylist and ask if they can lighten it. I wouldn't suggest bleaching it (especially by yourself), because it's really not good for your hair... it strips the hair of its naturals oils.

Another suggestion is letting it grow out, but again, you might want it lightened so that it's not such a big contrast between the black and your natural hair color.

hope that helps, goodluck*~

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

the safest way is to let it wash away because if bleach is the chemical you use in bleaching your clothes. that's a very strong chemical and it could destroy your hair a lot!

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

i would go to hair stylist to get this done...you could bleach it and then color it whatever you want it to be but thats alot of processing...you could also strip it and then color it again but again thats alot of processing. Another option...which is the route i am currently taking with my extremly dark dyed hair is well the other day i went and the stylist used something on my hair to lighten the dye i have in my hair (it was amazing my ends went from being black to being dirty blonde) she was then able to take some of the auburn tint that was at my routes out with some semi-permanent hair color....both of these things she put in my hair had either no or very little ammonia which means they didn't damage my hair, yay! I am going back in a week or two and she is going to put a full head of blonde foils through my hair, and then my blonde hair color i am used to will be restored! I no it sounds a little time consuming but in the end i think it will be worth it when there is no damage and i will have the hair color that i really want!

**Goodluck!!

How can i get my black hair color out (its not natural)?

I did this, so trust me--I'm speaking from experience. Go to a professional. Even if your hair doesn't damage easily, there are few products on the market that will lighten black dye, and you'll just be wasting your money and torturing your hair.

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

I have dark brown hair I want to dye dark blue. I don't want to damage my hair and I know stripping the color is bad for it--not to mention permanent. I want a wash out color so I can see if I like it first; how can I do that? I tried an over the counter color, but it didn't show up in my hair. Any suggestions?

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

You can get cans of spray on color from hairdressers, and they just wash out.

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

There aren't any options...well except wearing a blue wig or blue clip-in hair.

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

Try manic panic. It will cover just about any hair color w/o stripping/bleaching first. The only fault is that you can't just wash it out to see if you like it. It will wash out eventually, but not in one wash. I don't think there is a dye that can cover dark brown AND wash out quickly.

Good luck.

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

spray!! u can get it from so many places!!

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

manic panic hair dye. comes in loads of colors. but you cant just wash it out.

if you use sprays they wash out, but if you do ever want that color blue as a permanant color, theres a chance it will be a different shade.

a good idea is to get a brown dye a little bit darker than your natural color. and then buy a manic panic dye. if you dont like the color leave it a day or so and put the brown on.

but if you do that dont forget to condition your hair LOADS. because i dyed my hair twice in two days and it frizzed so bad and became brittle for a week or two.

How can I dye my hair blue without stripping the natural color?

you cant do it

I have african american hair and I am going natural do I have to cut it off first.?

I always hear women talking about the great chop off. My hair isn't that is all that long and the relaxer is just about grown out. I just really hate cutting my hair.

I have african american hair and I am going natural do I have to cut it off first.?

I am an African American woman. I went natural a year ago and yes, I did the big chop off the hair. I only had 2 inches off natural hair after it was cut. The reason for the cut is because when you go natural, it breaks off the relaxed hair after a while because its stronger. But I will say this, people think that you don't have to do anything with natural hair and that is soo wrong! So if you are not ready for the big change I definitely don't recommend it. My hair now is to my neck so I am very happy with the results. I am a stylist, so I know how to take care of it. If you don't, I recommend going to someone would expertise is natural hair and see how you should maintain your new style.

I have african american hair and I am going natural do I have to cut it off first.?

The only way you would have to cut your hair like that is if its severly damaged then you would want to get all the dead ends off otherwise just take about an inch off every 6 weeks.

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

I have thick, wavy/curly hair and I'm thinking about getting bangs. I know I'd have to straighten them every day that I don't pin them back, but when my bangs eventually grow out and I no longer need to straighten them, will the front of my hair that used to be bangs still be as curly as it is now?

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

yes but fried

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

itll become fried.

witch is worse

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

Probably, straightening just makes your hair thinner, after youv'e washed it, it will become the same as before (curly, wavy...). But bangs would probably be less curly since they are shorter. Also, you could ask your stylist to use thinning scissors to make the bangs not as thick.

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

After a few washes your hair will be back to normal, assuming you are talking about using a flat iron. Sometimes i find that my hair gets 'used' to being straight or curly but always goes back to normal after a few days. Your natural hair cannot actually lose its curl if you are just using an iron.

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

i have curly hair...and yeah i straighten my bangs any day that i dont put them back.

and they are absolutly fine, not frizzy or anything. i dont even use product actually..but i ALWAYS get my hair cut every 6 weeks or so, thats what keeps my hair so healthy

if i dont straighten my bangs one day ...they will most definetly be curly!

if youre going to use a straightener, dont put the setting up so high..or try buying a straihgtening cream which will do some of the work for you and can serve as a protectant for your hair

If you straighten your hair a lot, will your natural curls become less curly?

no bescause you didn't straighten your bangs out long enough to relax out your curls. if you straighten your whole head over a period of a few years then you curls will look a little relax but for the most part the bangs will not be straighten out.over a long period you'll see a difference but not in a few months.

What are some good and natural ways to get really shiny hair?

I have long hair that when loosened, reaches my chest, I would like to know some good methods to make hair really shiny and glossy. Shampoo wise, please give some good recommendations and methods to improve shine. It would be great if any one know of any home made herbal treatment and species of plants or other stuff that makes hair shiny. Massages? Is so what type and method, the best will get 10 points for overall informative answer.

Again, thanks for responding and your time.

What are some good and natural ways to get really shiny hair?

To give your hair a great shine and help remove soap build up:

Slightly diluted vinegar is fantastic for shine. The easiest way to apply vinegar is in a spray bottle before shower. Then rinse out thoroughly.

Add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice to your rinse water.

Applying the milk to your hair and then rinsing with cool water. Next, rub an ice cube along the length of your strands, then comb.

Add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your rinse water.

Mash up an avocado with a tablespoon of olive oil and a tsp of baking powder. Mix until well combined and then work the mixture through your hair and then wash out.

Ingrdients: 2 cups distilled water, 1/3 cup chopped fresh rosemary leaves - In small saucepan combine ingredients and bring to boil. Continue to boil 5 minutes. Let cool, then pour into spray bottle. Keep refrigerated and mist on hair to add shine, tone scalp, or invigorate skin.

Mayonnaise is a great conditioner for dry hair. Depending on the length of your hair, apply approximately 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to your dry hair. Work into hair really well and then cover your hair with a plastic bag, allowing to set for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual.

Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner work wonders. Both are available at drugstores.

But for more instant gratification, dab or spray a shine-enhancing styling product like Bumble and Bumble BB Shine (best for fine hair; available at www.bumbleandbumble.com) or Neutrogena Triple Moisture Smooth Shine Anti-Frizz Cream (best for thick, coarse hair; available at drugstores) on dry hair. It makes it look spectacular.

Hope this helped - there's a ton of information out there! Best of luck!

The Aussie brand shampoo %26amp; conditionaer will make your hair REALLY shiny and very soft =) good luck

What are some good and natural ways to get really shiny hair?

Without using any product, you can try this for shiny-er hair.

When you're in the shower, turn the water as cold as is comfortable for you. This causes hair folicles to contract and will add natual shine to your hair. If you blow-dry, there should be a button for cold air on your dryer. A 30 shot of cold air all over after blow drying helps too. Another method which takes a little time is one weekend a month, mix 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts water (Enough to cover your hair) and refrigerate it for about an hour, and rinse your hair with it. Make sure you wash well to get rid of the vinegar smell! But within a few weeks you'll notice shiny-er hair. Good luck!

This might sound crazy, but after you use a moisturizing shampoo, rinse your hair in beer! Beer is full of protein and makes your hair super sleek and shiny. Follow up with a moisturizing conditioner.

I need oil for straightening hair that will leave it natural-looking.?

Please i've been desperately looking for some hair straightening oil that won't leave it all oily or smelly, so that it just seems to be all healthy and naturally-straight.

My hair is naturally straight but daily straightening and curling are getting it dry and with some split ends.

Please write name, store, and price, :)

THANKS!!

I need oil for straightening hair that will leave it natural-looking.?

I always used Biosilk on my customers. Caution:Use very little....from a pea size for short hair to a penny size for long hair. Leaves it silky %26amp; shiny.

It can be bought at most salons or at mall hair care stores. I used to manage a salon in a Walmart and we charged $15.95. Sounds expensive but it should last you a long time.

I need oil for straightening hair that will leave it natural-looking.?

May I suggest Nexxus heat protector spray. You can get Nexxus at any store and I think I paid $11. Apply a finishing serum on it after you are done straightening the hair. I use Aveda smoothing lotion, it's a bit pricey though and No I don't remember how much it cost.

When will the natural texture of my child's hair come in?

She is 10 months old now and has beautiful curly hair. It was straight when she was a baby but curled up over time. I'm wondering if this will be her hair type or will it go coarse. My hair is very coarse, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her...

When will the natural texture of my child's hair come in?

I think each child is different. I had blonde curly hair up until the age of 3 then it slowly started to turn brown. I still have curls but my hair is a very dark brown. My brother had blonde hair when he was a baby and it's still blonde.

What natural every-day foods speed up hair growth?

I heard achieving hair long enough to reach the waist can take over 7 years to develop. I dont plan to grow it that long, but since hair is made of proteins, (amino acids), is there any everyday foods that speed the growth process?

What natural every-day foods speed up hair growth?

First, don't trim it.

As long as your keeping it healthy (no using extreme heat, and making sure your conditioning it well, you won't get split ends.)

Look for hair vitamins!

I use hair skin and nail vitamins from GNC.

Eat enough proteins of course!

And make sure to exercise, circulates blood, and that will of course travel to your head.

Also,

Try massaging your scalp!

It increases blood flow also!

What natural every-day foods speed up hair growth?

Fish oil. And make sure to get a trim every 6-8 weeks as this can also speed up hair growth by getting rid of split ends.

What natural every-day foods speed up hair growth?

Most of your hair has a make up of mostly corn, go with that. Really anything healthy would help, meaning vitamin intakes and such.

What natural every-day foods speed up hair growth?

First of all, ur hair growth depends on the gender. if ur a boy thn it will b slower but if ur gal thn it will b pretty fast secondly it also depends on the region you live its a a plc with more moisture content thn it will faster thirdly the everyday food tht promote hair growth are amla, curry leaves etc u can even put shikakai shampoo and multani mitti can of gr8 help for rough hair

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

hi,

I heard that all aveda products are natural, but I wonder how would they bleach if it is natural?? any one with more info about this regard?? (specially the bleaching colourings, that usually you would expect it to use peroxide?) - thanks.

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

No. They are not all natural. All you have to do is pick up a product and read the ingredients. They use a lot of plant derived ingredients for their products, but they are NOT all natural.

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

I looked everywhere and can't find a listing for their haircolor ingredients. I don't use anything with parabens due to their link to breast cancer, I went looking for products that didn't have them. I think the only all natural color are the henna based colors @ health food stores. Report It

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

Go to www.aveda.aveda.com and click on one of the institute listings. They are schools and also working salons. They should be able to answer your question by email or phone. Report It

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

Im a stylist at an Aveda concept salon! Its the only product that I will work with. Their color is 97% naturally dervied, you do have to have some peroxide to get the lift out of the colors..but trust me this color line is gental on the hair and I have seen some amazing colors come from it. Report It

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

Henna is a all naturall color, but you cant get any lift out of it because of this, they coat the hair %26amp; often not evenly so you get uneven color, %26amp; they are sometimes mixed with metal to get different colors. Report It

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

This becomes a problem when you want to use a color with peroxide in it. Metal %26amp; peroxide/amonia create heat.....can we say instant haircut! Not cute! Report It

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

Aveda products try to be a natural as possible. All of their products are at least 97% natural. Report It

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

it's all natural

Aveda hair products, are they really natural?

I can't answer that question, but I can say that out of the 50 or so experienced hair dressers, instructors, and cosmetologists I know...Aveda is not the product of choice. If you go to an Aveda concept salon that is your only choice. Go to a non concept salon and see what the professionals chose!

well first of all u have to be confident about urself first ull see everthing else will fall into place us guys we like girls who feel good about themselve

How to make my hair look more beauty in natural way?

If you heat your hair then it burns the ends which makes the illusion that its not growing, try and keep your hair up as much as possible, and comb leave-in conditioner into while its up. Always make sure when you shampoo that you massage the scalp, not the hair, the shampoo is designed for your pores not your hair...thats the conditioners job (concerntrate on the ends of your hair with conditioner). That way it will keep your hair in good condition. The sun also speeds your hair grwoth for some reason, but keep your hair moisturised when spending a long tme in the sun (serum).

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

I want to stop perming my hair!! Right now I pincurl my hair w/ a leave in conditioner 2-3 times a week %26amp; wear it in a curly fro. Will this cause my hair to break off? What are some alternatives - I don't want to shave my head %26amp; I don't want to wear braids.

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

When I went natural, I cut off all the relaxer and wore braids. If you don't wish to go that route, remember to keep your hair moist. I use glycerin mixed with rosewater (you can buy it mixed together at the pharmacy). I use it in a spray bottle. Glycerin is great for keeping moisture- that's what our hair needs. You can also keep your in cornrows or do 'braid outs'. There are many options so don't give up. Going natural was the best decision I ever made. Just do a little bit of research and I'm sure you'll find styles to help you transition until you're ready to do the big chop. Since hair grows about 6" a year on average, just be patient. I've listed some sites below in case you're interested. God bless!

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

afros rock!

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

good luck! I've never known any way to grow out a perm but to cut it off.

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

get a hair cut.

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

twist-out or straw-set are the easiest ways to hide both textures.

i stopped perming in march of 01 and made the big chop in august of 01. i went through the transitioning phase with micro-braids and just got tired of dealing with it. it is best to get it cut off as soon as possible. the permed ends hinder growth, and can cause damage to your natural hair. your natural hair is stronger so the permed ends start to break off eventually.

Good Luck.

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

Yes, eventuall the permed hair will break off. The difference in textures, porosities and such will force it to break when you manipulate the strands with both natural and permed portions. Pinculrs are good, rolling on permrods for a more afro-y look is good, wigs are good too. There are different extentions besides braids as well. Kinky twists and such. Good luck.

Going natural without braids or chopping my hair off?

your hair will not break as long as it is moisturized regularly

Demarcation is what you mean , This is where your new growth hair is a different texture from your relaxed hair.

Some may find that their hair is too coarse between the two textures and is not happy at all with the idea.you simply can flat iron your entire hair. or twist could be another solution,

there is a special comb you can use .....the link

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

Whether it's straight, curly, wavy, etc. It sounds like a dumb question, but I had this conversation with my friends and we had different opinion.

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

Your natural hair texture is determined by what it naturally does in the air. Do not apply any heat or anything else to it.. all of that changes texture. So, if you want to know your natural texture, wash your hair an let it air dry.

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

Just wash it and let it dry naturally and that is your natural texture.

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

after you take a shower, you squeeze out excess water with a towel, and let it air dry naturally

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

wet it, then let it dry. see how it comes out.

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

I'm guessing your question has more to do with what the definition of the words are than what your hair is; ie, you know what it is, what do you call it? It's really subjective- one person's definition of 'curly' vs. 'wavy' may be different from another. I make the distinction by determining whether or not the strand 'coils'. If it makes a complete circle; it is 'curly', if it bends back on itself- it's wavy.

How do you find out the natural texture of your hair?

ehm......grow it oot?

What are the best and quickest natural treatments for damage hair?

As others have mentioned, you can choose an oil (I myself prefer coconut to olive. I like the scent better.) and use that. There are several ways to use it, but the most popular is to use the oil of your choice as an overnight hydrating treatment. At night on dry hair apply the oil, from the roots of the hair to the tips, until saturated. Then, massage the oil into your scalp for a minute or two. Next, sleep with the product in overnight (I either place a towel on my pillow or put on a shower cap) and shampoo/condition the hair in the shower in the morning as you normally would. You can do this as many times a week as necessary, but I'd say the average is once or twice a week. (you'll need to do it more if your hair is VERY dry, less if your hair is normal or oily naturally) Hope that helps!

Coconut oil, check out the coco conditioner listed in here: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio...

What are the best and quickest natural treatments for damage hair?

Been there done that. I am not sure what you mean by "natural", but the best advice I've ever gotten was from Paula Begoun of cosmeticscop.com and Paula's book, "Don't Buy Hair Care Products Without Me". First thing, if you can, cut the damaged parts off. Otherwise, the split ends travel up your hair until you're head is a frizzball. If you're perming and coloring your hair, choose one or the other; do NOT do both. Perming is more damaging, BTW. If you insist on doing both, at least don't layer your hair; wear it one length.

Also, at Paula's advice, I use White Rain Extra Body shampoo -- not because of the "Extra Body" claim but because it's a good (cheap!) clear shampoo that will not build up and it cleans well. (Check out Paula's remarks on salon hair care products!) For conditioner, use Panteen Full %26amp; Thick conditioner. Don't use Panteen shampoo or the 2-in-1 combos. I did it against Paula's advice, and boy the build up makes damaged hair heavy. But the Panteen conditioner is great, especially if you leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. I put it all over my hair, as putting it only on the ends wasn't enough for me.

Lastly, don't use hot water on your hair, just warm. Don't comb wet hair; let it dry most of the way and then use a pick (if your hair is fine, it isn't as much of an issue). Save the brush or comb for when it's totally dry. Also, if you blow dry your hair, wait until it is just damp and THEN dry it the rest of the way. Much less damaging. I don't blow dry at all if I'm staying home.

Oh yeah, all the "botanicals" and "teas" and "vitamins" supposedly put in hair products don't do a thing for your hair. Hair is dead. Do yourself a favor and just drink your tea and eat your vitamins, where it'll do some good. And forget advice such as putting mayonnaise or beer or lemon juice in your hair. Just forget it. If you have hard water, white vinegar does a good job getting the mineral build-up out, every couple of weeks.

In summary: cut off split ends, White Rain E.B. shampoo %26amp; Panteen F%26amp;Th conditioner, don't wet comb, and dry hair when just damp. The rest of what I wrote should help prevent further damage. It's helped my long, color-treated hair feel like silk instead of hay.

Why don't you ask Bubbles the chimp, machully Culcan, or the remains of the elephant man.

Can anyone tell me about some natural skin lightening and hair bleaching home remedies?

Lemon juice for hair. I put a sponge in lemon juice, and squeeze most of the juice, then stroke the sponge slowly over my hair until it is wet. This works for facial hair too. This will bleach it out but it will take awhile, done on a daily basis.

It does work. I have had a blond streak through my brunette hair for several years now.

Good luck

Can anyone tell me about some natural skin lightening and hair bleaching home remedies?

*Bleaching has chemicals that merge into the skin and lighten facial hair. Technically it is not removal of superfluous hair but it makes it considerably less noticeable. There are three kinds of bleach, all unkind on the skin, but the degrees of harm may vary.

*The home bleach: mix two tablespoons of milk powder, mix in a enough liquid hydrogen peroxide to make a thick paste and, if hair is very dark and coarse, mix in a drop or two of liquid ammonia. This is considered to be the least harmful kind of bleach since the powder milk in the mixture moisturizes the skin while bleaching, preventing skin burns and other reactions.

*Powder bleach: mix bleaching powder with liquid hydrogen peroxide and ammonia to form a thick liquid.

*Cream bleach: this is what you get readymade in the markets. Easiest to use but the most harmful.

Results last for between two and six weeks and there's no re growth, since no hair has been lost. Expect to pay between Rs40 and Rs100 at beauty parlours, depending upon which bleach is used. Bleaching is not suitable for coarse hair as the chemical in bleach makes hair more brittle an makes it stand erect.

The farther lighter/darker you go from your natural color, the less 'natural' it will look.

If you want to take your shade up a level, so that your natural color is the darkest of the three, go for a honey blonde and a brown about two shades lighter than your own.

i don't know about two, but I like blonde highlights.

My skin is light tanned and im currently a brunette, but natural blonde, im dying my hair back to bl

what sort of blonde should i ask for at the hairdressers to make it not look yellow, shoulf i get heaps of blonde chunks throughout my hair?

im really not sure.

My skin is light tanned and im currently a brunette, but natural blonde, im dying my hair back to blonde?

Well, if you hairdresser knows what she's doing, she'll know to only lighten your hair by two shades so you don't get that brassy effect. I'm sure you want to go lighter faster, but it's much better for your hair to do a gradual change then a sudden one. Suddenly lightening your hair to a much lighter shade will damage your hair and cause it to become brassy, not cute. After a few weeks, you'll be able to go even lighter and eventually you'll be where you want to be.

My skin is light tanned and im currently a brunette, but natural blonde, im dying my hair back to blonde?

Have you thought about maybe blonde with light red high-lights. Or maybe just a light strawberry-blonde. most red heads or the pale to light tan in complication,so it should look fairly natural.

What is the sure fire natural way to increase hair growth ??

What is the sure fire natural way to increase hair growth ??

Hai, I am a doctor in acupuncture. According to Acupuncture, Hair fall occurs when a person's body is very hot. One should avoid red or orange colour fruits (like papaya, orange etc.) or any food that increases heat in the body. Eat black coloured fruits or food that increases coldness in the body. Salty taste also increases coldness. Add more of salty items in ur diet. Do not eat sweet dishes as it also controls coldness in the body. U can rub the nails of ur fingers of one hand with that of the other which balances the energy levels in ur body. U can also take a morning walk bare foot on sand, grass or on normal roads everyday. Avoid yellow, red or orange colour dresses and wear black colour. When ur body becomes cold, hair fall will stop immediately and new hair growth start. Thickness of hair will also increase. Once ur hair growth begins normal u can start wearing dresses of ur choice or eat any fruits u like.

How can I get my hair back to it's natural look?

How can I get my hair back to it's natural look?

If you want your hair back to its natural look, i would suggest just leaving your hair alone for a while, not to anything to it. then sooner or later it should go back close to how it was.

How can I get my hair back to it's natural look?

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

I agree that foil lightening would be the best. You want to be able to control the amount of lightening that happens, and you can't do that with lemon juice in the sun. It's also very easy to touch up the roots on foils, whereas it's almost impossible with the cap or the homemade lighteners.

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

tea i think black tea and charmello tea

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

Lemon bleaches hair, do a couple of strips and go out into the sun. also, there is something called sun-in...but its not natural.

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

go to a hair dresser and explain or in sunlight put in lemon Juice it lightens it (bit messy though)

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

ask your stylist to foil color weave's in using color gels by redken, 6w

and 6 should be great

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

since your hair is dark... you first gotta bleach the partsz you want highlighted... after the bleaching then highlight over it the brunette color... but if you want to make the colorsz look like you were born wit it just highlight it brunette. use uluminum foil and keep your hair in the light, it really bringsz out the color. and continue using the conditioner... the color will start showing up slowly and it'll look great :)

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

you already are brunnette all shades of brown are brunnette

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

I once put baby oil in my skin before sun bathing - very bad and soon learnt

anyway when I finished I ran my fingers through my hair and sat in the sun - next day washed hair and looked in mirror and realised baby oil had bleached my hair and had fine streaks of golden blond in it - my hair wasnt dark though only mid brown - give it a go - not the sunbathing in oil thing though just the hair

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

You have to bleach then tone to a natural color. Dont try this at home, there are professionals that get paid to do this.

How do i get burnett natural highlights when my hair is dark brown?

you would have to dye it with a highlight kit you can get at walmart but it will look natural.
