as for the highlights, the only good way of getting them and making them look good, is going to a hair stylist. then can make the highlights (strands of hair) just a bit lighter, make it light brown, and then put the red or blue color.

it's a 2 step process.

first you have to bleach your hair...it will turn brownish oarnge color (most likely) which will look scary but don't worry you dye over it.

then dye your hair the color you want with highlights the color you want.
